I am a California escapee who moved to South Florida right at the beginning I was one of the first people to abandon ship.  We're going to be looking at things on this website through the prism of “Earlyism”. What's “Earlyism?” it's looking at things through prism of my perspective -- from an attorney from Southern California, who has been on all sides of the equation in the legal business. I was a plaintiffs’ attorney starting out. After that I looked for what I thought was a better deal. I looked into becoming a defense attorney after beating all those defense attorneys as a plaintiffs’ attorney and I came to realize that that life is much worse. In 2005,  I joined the California Department of Justice and became a deputy attorney general, rising through the ranks to become among the first class of those to achieve the highest ranked possible. Deputy Attorney General V. And I did that until 2020.  When the COVID hit southern California, for whatever reason, I figured that was like what a cow must feel like, when they're getting corralled into a pen because that's what it felt like to me with all the "protections" being forced upon me. So, abruptly we bailed from Southern California --  We moved to the Treasure Coast of Florida. It allowed one of my sons, who was going to get locked out of his senior year in San Diego the ability to participate in a senior year of high school. California Escapee - Attorney
